The 1 Year Journey

From captivity
to kingdom impact.

Israel's road out of Egypt is the shape of every man's discipleship. You are somewhere on it right now. The only question is whether you walk it with brothers.

01

Egypt

Months 1–3

Bondage to freedom.

"Let my people go, that they may serve me." — Exodus 8:1

  • Confess and break strongholds — pornography, rage, passivity, pride.
  • Daily Bible reading plan begins; faith grows by hearing the Word.
  • Assigned a brother for daily accountability check-ins.
  • First rank earned: Recruit.
02

Desert

Months 4–8

Refinement and discipline.

"He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger." — Deuteronomy 8:3

  • Fasting, prayer, and hidden obedience when no one is watching.
  • Character work tracked through the nine fruit of the Spirit.
  • Evangelism training: learn to open your mouth and give an answer.
  • Ranks: Soldier, Centurion.
03

Promised Land

Months 9–12

Stewardship and mission.

"Be strong and of a good courage… thou shalt cause them to inherit." — Joshua 1:6

  • Take ground: lead a group, build a work, provide, protect, multiply.
  • Each one teach one — you now disciple a younger brother.
  • Commissioned into a mission field with your brotherhood behind you.
  • Ranks: Captain, Commander.
04

Exile

Any time — grace on tap

Fall down? Get back up.

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again." — Proverbs 24:16

  • No shame, no expulsion. Exile is a road home, not a rejection.
  • Repent. Reset. Restore. Re-enter the season you need, not the one you lost.
  • A restoration mentor walks with you through re-entry.
  • Rank is preserved when the heart is repentant.
